The program begins with an initial consultation with our medical provider who would review the patient’s medical history, conduct a physical examination, discuss the patient’s weight loss goals, and order several labs to determine the patient’s overall health.
After labs have been received, a follow-up appointment will be scheduled to review the patients labs and personalize a weight loss plan that aligns with the patient’s goals.

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment used to reduce the appearance of submental fat, also known as a “double chin”. The active ingredient in Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
During a Kybella treatment session, our healthcare provider will inject the solution into targeted areas of submental fat using a small needle. The number of injections required will depend on the amount of submental fat being treated and the patient’s individual needs.
After the injection, the deoxycholic acid in Kybella works to break down the fat cells in the treated area, which are then gradually eliminated by the body’s natural processes. The process typically takes several weeks to months, and the treated area will gradually become slimmer and more defined.
